I'm Nathan Saxon, a friendly guitar tutor with over 20 years experience teaching classical guitar and music theory to the people of Saddleworth and beyond.
Whether you're an absolute beginner, an out-of-practice guitarist or you're wishing to advance through guitar grades and music exams, you will find my guitar lessons are individually tailored to suit your level and requirements.
I offer…
- fun and casual classical guitar tuition from beginner's level
- progressive learning to an advanced level through a structured curriculum
- guitar playing and achievements assessed with ABRSM examinations
- classical guitar grades up to Grade 8
- Music Theory and Aural Perception as required by the ABRSM
- duet and accompaniment preparation for GCSE performance*
* (min. 12 lessons lead-in time prior to school assessment)
Guitar Lessons
- are held at my home in Friezland near Greenfield, Saddleworth or can take place in your home
- last for half an hour or you can book double sessions
- cost just £15 for half an hour and include exercises and music to take home
- are just for you, one-to-one sessions
- are held Monday to Friday from mid-afternoon up to 9pm and on Saturday mornings
- are relaxed, enjoyable and paced to suit you.
I offer guitar tuition to students from age 6 and upwards. For your reassurance I have CRB disclosure. Parents/guardians are welcome to sit in on the lessons and observe.

If you don't have a guitar that doesn't matter; I will advise on the most suitable size and type of guitar and help you to choose an instrument with discounts available from a local supplier.
